Children's Book Group Launch 06/06

The Little Bookshop Chapel Allerton launches its first Children’s Book Group!

Our brand-new monthly children’s book group will launch on Thursday 6 June, 4-5 pm in Chapel Allerton. If you’re aged 8-11, we’ve got an hour of book-ish excitement for you and will be introducing our first fantastic read, the brilliant new fiction title Black Hole Theatre Club. Popular author Christopher Edge combines fantasy, friendship and adventure with a big dollop of science in his best-selling novels (The Infinite Lives of Maisie Day is also a bookshop favourite).

Tickets include refreshments and your own book group starter pack. There’ll also be quiz fun and the chance to come up with a whizzy book club name in a special competition, to be judged by bookshop fav author Sophie Anderson. Plus, you’ll even get a 10% discount on your purchase of Black Hole Theatre Club! As it’s our first meeting we really want to know what you enjoy reading and welcome your ideas to make this the best book group ever.
